Would you like to help a charity or community organisation at this time?

Social Hackathons are problem-solving/solution-creating events that take place over the course of one working day. Groups of UCL students will be placed with a local not-for-profit organisation, devising and implementing solutions to issues they are currently facing. Our upcoming series of Social Hackathons happening this February will be held remotely and online over Zoom.

Working in a team with other UCL volunteers, you’ll develop skills, learn about the Third Sector from its own professionals and connect with new communities across London - all from the comfort of your own home! Over 80 UCL students took part in our previous virtual Social Hackathons last November, including: helping a charity create a branding and comms strategy, identifying and implementing intergenerational volunteering and digitalising enterprise days through dragons den style presentations. Sounds cool right? Apply for our February Hackathons to take part in more awesome events.
