Cheer point volunteers help the Events team support their runners at the Royal Parks Half Marathon. We pride ourselves on having the loudest cheer points and giving our runners a day they won’t forget. So, if this sounds like the role for you, join our team!
The event takes place Sunday 9 October and we ask volunteers to meet in Hyde Park, London. Breast Cancer Now staff will be cheering from 9am-1pm and volunteers are invited to join staff during a variety of shifts between these hours.
Who are we?
Breast Cancer Now is the only UK-wide charity providing specialist support and tailored information for anyone affected by breast cancer. Our clinical expertise and emotional support network help thousands of people find a way to live with, through and beyond breast cancer. We combine the personal experiences of people affected by breast cancer with clinical expertise, using this in a unique way to: provide information and offer emotional and practical support, bring people affected by breast cancer together, campaign for improvement in standards of support and care, promote the importance of early detection.
