Our team of over 100 runners will be taking on the London Marathon and they are all raising vital funds so we can create real change for people with a learning disability. We are currently planning for this year’s race day and we need you there, proudly wearing a pink Mencap t-shirt and supporting our runners.
The Marathon takes place on Sunday 23rd April and we need volunteers for 3-4 hour shifts.
Our cheer points are located at:
Mile 12: Tower Hill
Mile 25: Embankment
Finish Line: The Mall (you will also need to direct runners to the post race reception)
We also need volunteers to support at the post race reception at the Royal Society of Arts building. This role will be slightly different, and could include welcoming runners, giving out thank you cards/bags and serving drinks.
