Name of Event: London Christmas Bucket Collector Volunteer

Volunteer Role:  We’re holding a series of collections in National Rail and Underground stations in the lead-up to Christmas. We do this to increase awareness about autism and raise vital funds to pay for our Helpline and campaigns. We need volunteers to help at these collections, to volunteer alongside an NAS member of staff and help engage people.

We’re seeking (elves) volunteers who can spare a few hours to help with the collections.

What’s involved?

  • The collections will be fun, festive, and a great opportunity to meet some of our supporters face-to-face and spend a few hours spreading Christmas cheer in support of our charity.
  • Each shift is three hours long and will be in a busy train station environment – which means the time should pass quickly!
  • There will be prizes for the volunteers who have the most festive Christmas outfit (note fancy dress is encouraged but not required), as well as those who collect the most money
