Name of Event: London Bucket Brigade

Volunteer Role: Bucket Collectors

Each year 62,000 people are diagnosed with breast cancer in the UK – that’s one person every 10 minutes. At Breast Cancer Care, we understand the emotions, challenges and decisions faced by people living with a breast cancer diagnosis. But we need your help to make sure we can continue to be there for anyone facing breast cancer, from day one.

We are looking for volunteers for our London station bucket collections during February and March 2019. Volunteering at a bucket collection is a really easy and fun way to raise vital funds for people affected by breast cancer and only takes a couple of hours.

By volunteering at one station for just two hours, you could help raise over £500. This could give 40 younger women with breast cancer the expert support of a specialist nurse at one of our two-day Younger Women Together events.

You will collect in a team of up to six volunteers, including your Team Leader. The opportunity is available to sign up to one collection or as many as you like, the more the merrier!
