A one-off cultural exchange between UCL students and school children.

Do you want to teach children cultural traditions, geography or about a language you are passionate about? Then this is the opportunity for you!

We are looking for volunteers who speak another language to plan and deliver workshops for primary school children here at UCL. You’ll work in teams to teach children about cultural traditions, people, geography and language through fun and interactive activities. Volunteers will either be native speakers or will be learning the language, only a basic level is needed.

Volunteering Service staff and other educational specialists will offer support and all resources will be provided. If you want to be involved in the Language & Cultural Day, you need to attend the planning meeting which will be Wednesday 31st January, 10-11am. You will also need to plan additional meetings with your group to finalise arrangements before the event taking place on Wednesday 21st February, 9am-1pm.

This is a great opportunity for you to share a little bit about your culture or language with some young children in an educational setting.
