We actively combat loneliness by connecting isolated older people with their community and supporting them to join group activities. It is a great opportunity to socialise, have fun and a cup of tea. Help prepare the venue and food, then socialise with the older community members throughout the afternoon.
Duties
• Help prepare the venue and food.
• Socialise with the older community members throughout the afternoon.
• Befriend older people who live alone and are at risk of becoming isolated.
• Tidy up and clear away after the event.
