Volunteer Role: Want to get some experience with Europe’s leading conservation charity?

Are you enthusiastic about nature and do you enjoy chatting about garden wildlife?

Join us to teach our future conservationists about the importance of wild bird feeding with this hands-on feeder making workshop.

Volunteers will be helping the Community Fundraiser to make apple and seed feeders for children across three days of February half term. This will involve:

-helping children to core apples

-stick sunflower seeds into the skin of the apple

-tie on a piece of string

Students who are studying education or conservation will be able to get hands on experience of dealing with small groups of 10 children under the supervision of the Community Fundraiser in charge.

When: 19 - 21 February, 11:00 - 18:00
