Name of Event: A Feast Fit for Royalty

Volunteer Role: Join us as we travel back in time from Queen Elizabeth I to Queen Elizabeth II and more as we discover and explore themes of royalty. It will be an interactive day that will include exploring themes such as royalty and historical banqueting whilst drawing similarities and differences between the modern and the past. It will involve tours, drawing, archive investigation, object handling, storytelling and craft to bring this topics to life for our families. You’ll get to engage with the local community in a creative and dynamic way whilst working with top organisations and experts in the field!

Your role as volunteer will be to welcome families, encouraging families to engage with the activities and helping move the families between the various sites. This role will help develop confidence, team work and give students first hand insight into the delivery of a learning event and the logistics behind a busy event.
