We have a variety of great volunteer activities at our Summer Event. This is set to be a vibrant day of live music, tours, exhibitions and workshops as part of the London Festival of Architecture programme, with workshops to coincide with Newham Heritage Month.
Duties
Morning Set-Up: Help set-up the site for the event. Mandatory start at 9 am to help with site set up and to receive an induction. ( Part of full day or morning shift)
Circulating Stewards: Site safety, keep movement around potential overcrowding areas, support with clearing rubbish. (Full day or half day)
Information Desk: Welcome attendees, assign workshop places for walk-ins. Take donations. Sign-post and give directions. (Full day or half day)
Community Science Volunteers: Assist Gino with his Ecology stall: help sign-post volunteering opportunities and ecology activities. (Full day or half day)
Art Workshop: Help our facilitators with their workshops. Workshops start at 12 pm, arrival for 11 am to meet facilitators & receive specialist induction (Full day or half day)
Bar: Serve drinks, take orders and payment, clear and clean bar area. (Full day or half day)
Bridge Rolling: Help roll the bridge & keep the area controlled. 6-8 volunteers (Full day or half day)
