Name of Event: Endometriosis Research Now

Volunteer Role: Endometriosis Research Conference Volunteer

Endometriosis UK are holding their first Research Conference with support from the Wellcome Trust. The day will provide exciting updates on the newest research relating to endometriosis.

We need volunteers to undertake a number of tasks to help the day run smoothly, including:

- welcoming and registering conference attendees

- acting as guides to direct attendees to different areas of the conference

- assisting on the fundraising, merchandising and information stands

- distributing flyers and other information

- signposting attendees and speakers

Ideally, volunteers will be confident, comfortable dealing with the public and able to use their initiative.

This event might be particularly of interest to social sciences/ medical/ gender focused degree students but is, of course, open to everyone. Volunteers will be provided with refreshments and will be able to sit in on the majority of the conference talks and seminars

When: Saturday 17 November, from 08:30 – 17:00 (breaks and lunch included)

Where: University of Westminster, 35 Marylebone Road, London, NW1 5LS

Volunteer places: 10
