Name of Event: Bucket Collect to Make a Difference with Breast Cancer Care

Volunteer Role: Breast Cancer Care are looking for smiley, friendly and enthusiastic volunteers to bucket collect for 2 hours this February/March.

No previous experience is necessary. We will provide you with everything you need to take part in our collections, including tabards to wear, (optional!) pink fancy dress items, a full brief, and of course those all-important buckets; all you need to do is turn up. By the end of the day, you will feel wonderful!

This opportunity will assist you in gaining the following skills:

  • Interpersonal/Confidence
  • Teamwork

By volunteering at one station for just two hours, you could raise up to £450 which could give 40 younger women affected by breast cancer the expert support of a specialist nurse and a chance to meet other women at a two day Younger Women Together event. Your collection can make sure we continue to be there for the people who so desperately need us.

As a thank you for volunteering you time, we will send you a personalised thank you certificate and email after the collection to let you know how much was raised so you can see the big difference you’ve made.
