In response to feedback from postgraduates we are adding some new exercise classes for December and January to our weekly timetable.

Freestyle Barre is an intense workout inspired by elements of ballet, yoga and pilates.  It focuses on low-impact, high-intensity movements designed to build strength while also developing agility and flexibility.

You will need:

- a sturdy high backed chair to use as the ‘ballet barre’ 

- Some ‘weights’ either dumbells, bottles of water or tinned cans

- a cushion or exercise ball

- a laptop, tablet or phone to watch the class and also to have yourself on camera (the instructor needs to see you to correct posture and make sure you are participating safely)

It’s a great chance to try something different from home. No previous experience needed.
