This classroom style workshop aims to raise awareness of (‘female’) anatomy, physiology and the importance of intimate health.

About this Event

This workshop would help participants to:

1) Identify key ‘female’ anatomy – the vulva, vagina and reproductive system.

2) Understand the key functions of the vulva, vagina and reproductive systems in relation to reproduction and pleasure.

3) Recognize the signs and symptoms of good health and also indicators of infection including UTIs, STIs and HPV.

4) Understand that every person’s genitalia is unique and that representation in pornography and the media do not reflect diversity.

5) Recognize common myths and debunk their meaning.

6) Understand how to maintain a healthy vagina and vulva.

7) Recognize the signs and symptoms of good health and also indicators of infection including UTIs, STIs and HPV.

8) Identify when and where to go for help, screening and support in relation to intimate health and well being.

(Note: usage of female in a colloquial sense of understanding).
