Hey everyone, we will be watching the film Tangerine (2015) together, a comedy-drama about two trans sex workers in the streets of LA, groundbreaking because of its portrayal of real trans people in humorous settings rather than the common trope of us being tragic victims. And because it was shot entirely on an iPhone 5S.
Content warning: due to its subject matter, the film has instances of partial nudity, transphobia, homophobia and racism.
