Friday 24 January 202009.40

As part of the Museum Societies contribution to the Give-It-A-Go week in January 2020, we are taking twenty students to the Sir John Soane’s Museum.
This Museum uses the Architect Sir John Soane’s own home to showcase aspects of his eclectic, 45,000-strong collection covering everything from paintings by Turner to antiquities; the display of which has remained unchanged since his death in 1837. Given the nature of the building - being originally intended as a Victorian home - you feel more like you have descended into an Aladdin’s Cave than a museum.
Please purchase a (free!) ticket before arrival so we can make sure not to disapoint on the day!
Please meet us at 9.40 outside Holburn Underground Station, for a 10.00am arrival.
