Taking advantage of the fact that online events mean we can more easily host speakers from anywhere in the world, we bring to you the first in what we hope to be a series of events showcasing some of the conservation work being done in different continents!

The first continent is South America and we have three great speakers lined up. The first is Cristian, a representative from Tompkins Conservation who are doing landscape-scale conservation work from Northern Argentina to Southern Chile. The second is Raquel, a representative from the Iwokrama International Centre for Rainforest Conservation and Development in Guyana. And last but not least we have Yara, a PhD student from UCL/ZSL who is working with farmers in Brazil to restore land there.  

It is going to be a great event and we hope to see you there! Each speaker will talk for 15 minutes, with 5 minutes for questions from the audience. As with all our mini-conferences, this is open to the public as well as members, and you can access it through the zoom link below:
