Based on the novel by James Jones, From Here To Eternity features lyrics by Tim Rice, music by Stuart Brayson, and a book by Donald Rice and Bill Oakes.

Set in Hawaii at the outbreak of World War Two, James Jones’ From Here to Eternity won the National Book Award, was an international best-seller and became an Oscar-winning film starring Frank Sinatra, Deborah Kerr and Burt Lancaster. Tim Rice’s musical adaptation returns to the UK after two acclaimed productions in the USA, at the Finger Lakes Musical Theatre Festival (2016) and the Ogunquit Playhouse (2017).

It’s 1941 in Honolulu, Hawaii. The soldiers of G Company are restless, as war rages thousands of miles away. One of their own, the rebellious Prewitt, falls for escort club girl Lorene, while his platoon sergeant embarks on a dangerous affair with his commanding officer’s wife. As Pearl Harbor approaches, the claustrophobic world of the four lovers and the desperation of the soldiers of G Company splinter amidst an escalating war.
