Rwanda - The Legacy of Genocides

In 1994 in Rwanda, a million members of the Tutsi minority were killed by members of the dominant Hutus tribe in a 100-day long massacre hat took place while the world looked away. 2019 marks the 25th anniversary of the genocide. We would like to take that as an occasion to watch the movie "Hotel Rwanda" with you!
The film is not the story of that massacre, it is the true story of a hotel manager who saved the lives of 1,200 people. Paul Rusesabagina received the United States highest civilian award for heroism during Rwanda’s dark days.
