UCL Cancer Charities Alliance and Medical Society present “New Ways to Tackle Cancer”, an oncology conference focusing on breakthroughs in cancer screening, diagnosis and treatment as well as career prospects in cancer research and development. In addition to talks and workshops, there will also be a poster competition held during lunch break. Majority of ticket sales will go to Cancer Research UK and the Institute of Cancer Research.

Over the course of the day, we will be welcoming speakers from UCL Cancer Institute, UCLH, Royal Marsden Hospital and the Institute of Cancer Research to discuss the incredible breakthroughs that are happening in cancer research with a core focus on screening, diagnosis and treatment. We will also be welcoming speakers in the afternoon session who will discuss the pipeline of research and development in the field of Oncology and the different career prospects, which ranges from biology, crystallography, chemistry to pre-clinical trials.

This will be an excellent opportunity to gain further insight into the current developments in this dynamic and evolving field, with the chance to meet the key figures pioneering these developments.
