Come learn how civil society activists frame their issue, target their audience and tackle the trials and tribulations of translating academic evidence and writing into compelling calls to action. 

About our facilitator:

Paul is a criminologist and addiction specialist with nine years of experience working in the drug treatment sector. During this time he managed services, delivered bespoke addiction training programmes for the public sector and lectured at Universities. After joining Volteface in 2017, Paul has released a number of reports and progressed from policy advisor to being the sole Director of the company. Paul regularly comments in the media on drug treatment, cannabis use among young people, mental health and drugs education. Alongside his Volteface work, Paul is a Director at a harm reduction consultancy Neurosight and volunteers for drug testing charity The Loop.
