This talk is a webinar to discuss the past, present and future of Lebanon, sculpted by conflicts, resilience, tensions, a revolution and the blast. We have gathered experts to discuss the matter with you.
Our speakers are:
- Dr. Seth Anziska
Dr. Anziska is the Mohamed S. Farsi-Polonsky Associate Professor of Jewish-Muslim Relations at UCL. He was a 2019 Fulbright Scholar at the Norwegian Nobel Institute and has held visiting positions at Dartmouth College, New York University, the London School of Economics and the American University of Beirut.
- Samer Makarem
Samer is a community and political organizer, one of the co-founders of Muwatin Lebnene, a core member in setting up Basecamp and a strategist and political organizer for Minteshreen, a grassroots youth movement.
- Sadir Abdul Hadi
Sadir is a consultant in Deals and one of the cofounders of Impact Lebanon. He has recently graduated from UCL with a Master’s in Computer Science.
The talk will be followed by a short Q&A to get to know the speakers and discuss some matters in more depth!
