Come along to our first KnitSoc talk of the year and learn about crochet in tonga!

Anthropology professor Graeme Were will be guiding us through his exciting research on the uses of crocheted wraps by Tongan women and men. He will also examine how crocheted wraps were adopted by Christian communities and what this meant in terms of gender identities.

Do join us for this fascinating talk by getting a free ticket here:…
