You do not need a membership for this session! :)

This event is held for prospective Horse Riding Club members and is aimed at beginner riders who have never ridden before/only ridden a few times. You will have a 30 minute lesson where you will be lead by an experienced rider and you will learn to mount, dismount, start, stop, walk and try your hand out at trotting!

Please dress appropriately: long hair tied up, long trousers, shoes/boots with a small heel (if you do not have any, you can borrow some from the riding centre as trainers are forbidden), clothes according to the weather as the lesson can take place outdoors. No shorts, skirts, jewellery or hair styles which prevent the hat from fitting close to the head.

Restriction: Weight limit: 82.5kg/13 stone.

We will be meeting in front of the Bloomsbury Theatre at 12:15 sharp and make our way to Lee Valley all together on public transport, so please bring a valid Oyster/contactless card. If you are unable to make the meeting point or time, please let us know so we can give you directions.

The last session will start at 15:15 so please make sure you arrive at the riding centre at least 30 minutes before your lesson and make sure you are equipped with a riding helmet at least 15 minutes before the start time. Please make sure you fill in a Rider Registration form (these will be handed out. If you arrive late, please ask for one at the Reception). Lee Valley reserves the right to refuse you if you arrive late. There cannot be any refunds if this arises. Please let us know of any serious medical issues before buying your ticket.

Price per rider: £18
