We invite you to join us for our This Girl Can Navigate event. 

Never learned how to read a map? Want to improve your navigation skills? Maybe you just want a bit more confidence in getting yourself out in the wild? 

This is your chance to get a small group, hands on workshop to learn the skills you need to go adventuring in the great outdoors. Lead by 2 professional (female!) Mountain Leaders, you’ll get a chance to see what This UCL Girl can do! Why not give it a go!

Note: this event will run whatever the weather - please be prepared with waterproofs, boots if you have them and hat/scarf/gloves. The event is suitable

for beginners and those who already have some experience with maps

Other things to bring with you:

  • Water bottle/drinks for the day
  • Packed lunch
  • Warm clothes, including hat, scarf and gloves
  • Waterproof jacket (essential)
  • Waterproof trousers if you have them
  • Walking boots if you have them, or trainers you don’t mind getting muddy
