Theme: ‘Disjointed Anatomies’: the vivid wonder of the natural structures, human and non-human anatomy; the unexpected beauty of scientific images; the bizarre and the banal that body has to offer.

We aim to display the creative work of over thirty students from diverse medical, scientific and artistic backgrounds, exploring possible cross-disciplinary perceptions of anatomical structure. We propose an investigation of anatomy that facilitates the interconnection of bodily matter with the ephemeral form of thought and emotional process. Here, we provide a much-needed platform for young people in these fields to cultivate autonomous responses to the material of their academic studies.

* Limited number of exhibition booklets available for purchase
* Refreshments provided
* Competition for the ugliest drawings of any body part
* Interactive exhibit with anatomical models from Dr Wendy Birch's Anatomy Laboratory collection, complete with drawing materials

Tickets: £1.50
