Arjun will be attempting his best Nigella Lawson impression and converting his improvisational style of cooking into what one can only describe as organised chaos. So grab some ingredients, prepare a glass of wine if you’d like, and join him in a virtual curry-cooking cooking tutorial! He will be making a tofu and chickpea curry with Basmati rice and easy onion bhajis!

This event is vegan-friendly and suitable for beginners/aspiring chefs. Feel free to cook along live with me, cook your own food or just join us for a chill and fun social. It will be a fantastic opportunity to meet other members of UCL Lightning! ⚡️?

Ingredients (rough estimate): 

  1. 1 tin of chickpeas
  2. 1 tin of chopped tomatoes
  3. 1 block of firm tofu
  4. Garlic (frozen/fresh)
  5. 2 large red onions
  6. Red chilli powder
  7. Cumin
  8. Turmeric
  9. Garam masala
  10. Olive/vegetable oil
  11. Gram (chickpea) flour
  12. Basmati rice
  13. Salt and pepper
