- Emeritus Professor of Moral Philosophy at St Andrews and also Senior Fellow of the Centre for Philosophy and Public Affairs

- Chair of the Royal Institute of Philosophy

- Served as an advisor to the Pope for a decade

- Was recently named one of 50 most influential Catholics in the world!
