Bioethics after Brexit

As Brexit has finally arrived and the transition period is set to end in December, the 𝐔𝐊’𝐬 𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐥 𝐫𝐞𝐠𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐬𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐁𝐢𝐨𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐜𝐬 𝐢𝐬 𝐚𝐭 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐞. Prof. Sir Jonathan Montgomery will be joining us to answer these and any other questions you may have regarding this very important, very current topic. Prof. Montgomery has thought about and written extensively about this topic and other issues in bioethics and healthcare law. Besides teaching at UCL’s Faculty of Laws, Prof. Montgomery has had multiple chair roles in bioethics committees, including the Nuffield Council on Bioethics. As such, he is an 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐭 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐢𝐞𝐥𝐝, who is ideally positioned to guide us through the complexity of Bioethics governance and discuss the consequences of Brexit on this field. He was knighted in 2019 in recognition of his service to the fields of Bioethics and Healthcare Law.
