How long will it take to get the UK vaccinated against Covid-19? What about other countries?

Covid-19 vaccines have been developed and approved at an unprecedented and historical rate. Many questions have arisen on access inequalities and optimal distribution methods. The SfGH UCL: UAEM campaign is hosting an online panel discussion to look at the successes and challenges of COVID-19 vaccine distribution past, present and future. Join us on February 24th at 2:00 PM GMT to learn where we’re at currently, where we could be a year from now, and what it will take to get there.

Our expert panelists include:

  • Rhiannon Osborne, a medical student at the University of Cambridge, National Policy and Advocacy Director at Students for Global Health UK, former co-lead of UAEM-UK (throughout the COVID 2020 period)
  • Danny Kim, a PharmD student at Northeastern University currently working as the Head of Corporate Development at WELT - a biotech company focusing on digital therapeutics.
  • Dr. Mohga Kamal-Yanni, a senior health advisor currently providing technical and policy support to UNAIDS and the People’s Vaccine Alliance on access to health technology for Covid-19
  • Dr. Helen Bedford, a professor of children’s health at UCL and an immunisation expert for the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health
