In commemoration of Black History Month, the UCL American Society and the UCL Amnesty International Society are collaborating to hold a screening of the documentary film “13th”, detailing the history of African-Americans in the United States and the inequalities of America’s justice & prison system. We will be meeting via Zoom at 6:00. You can either view it on your own via Netflix or via the Zoom stream we will be setting up after we begin the event, so that those who do not have a Netlfix subscription with nevertheless be able to view the film. After the movie is over, we will be having a discussion regarding race & the justice system in America.
