Submissions for this form are closed.

If you have been volunteering on a community project, you may be able to add it to your Higher Education Achievement Report (HEAR). In order to do so, you’ll need to meet one of the following criteria:

  • You have completed at least 20 hours of verifiable community volunteering in one academic year with one of the Volunteering Service’s partner organisations or Student-Led Projects. There are three categories for this on the HEAR – 20 hours, 50 hours and 100 hours.
  • If you have been a Project Leader on one of our Student Led Projects, you are eligible to include this on your HEAR, as long as your supervisor in the Volunteering Service is happy to verify.

Note that HEAR is available for most undergraduates; however, postgraduates, medical students and students on a few other courses don’t get one. If you’re unsure, please check UCL’s eligibility guidance for current students.

Please use this form to tell us about your volunteering; we will then seek confirmation from the people who have supervised or led your volunteering. We will not be able to send your details to be updated on the HEAR if they do not respond, so please tell them to expect an email from us.

This Community Volunteering addition to your HEAR is opt-in, rather than opt-out.  If you are not eligible or do not submit your eligible community volunteering for verification before the deadline your transcript will not be updated.  The Registry will update student records by September 2019 for those of you who have your activity successfully verified.

The deadline for submitting your request is 9am Monday 5th August 2019.  Submissions after this date will not be processed in this year’s batch.

Note that you need to login to see the webform.
