Editors for Impact CIC
Editors for Impact is a registered Community Interested Company (No. 12891370) and a decentralized social enterprise specialising in creative content services. We are passionate about using our skills to help build content and media presence for meaningful causes and impact. Our focus is on NGOs and other charitable organizations that are working towards addressing problems in social development…

Editors for Impact is a Community Interest Company dedicated to providing small charitable organisations with free access to media representation, including graphics design, video editing, voice-over and more. E4I is run by student volunteers while creatives volunteer their time to our charity partners. Through this system, E4I ensures time and resource constrained organisations are able to share their impact to secure support and funding. In addition, E4I is a network for creatives, students and small charitable organisations, which also offers creatives the opportunity to gain experience working on projects with real clients.

Editors for Impact’s management team

The management team is currently made up of volunteers who are mostly students. All our work can be conducted virtually. Members of the management team gain valuable experience running and growing a small organisation with the opportunity to quickly take ownership and responsibility for projects and teams. While managing Editors for Impact, committed volunteers can build up a portfolio of achievements and skills which enable them to differentiate themselves in interviews. Throughout all the roles, committed volunteers can expect to gain experience in areas such as; liaising with partners and sector stakeholders, coordinating with a wider team, personnel management, project delivery, target setting and, giving and receiving feedback.

Time commitment

We aim to foster a low-pressure and flexible working environment. You can work flexibly on tasks that fit around your schedule and weekly commitment is estimated to be 3-5 hours. As part of the management team, there may also be short biweekly meetings with a commitment period of around 3 months such that you can gain a strong understanding of our operations. We are open to discussing commitment levels depending on your specific circumstances.
