Institute of Imagination
The Institute of Imagination (iOi) is a UK registered charity set up to help understand the power of imagination and realise its potential. Our goal is to spark imagination everywhere and encourage creative learning through our events, training, partnerships, online programmes and research. We offer a wide range of innovative events and activities for children of any age and background, families…

At the Institute of Imagination (iOi), we are always looking for enthusiastic and willing volunteers who want to help children to use their imagination. We don't expect or need you to have prior experience or special skills. What we do ask is that you are passionate and have an interest in exploring the power of imagination with children and families. We are very flexible with the volunteer opportunities, so you’re welcomed to volunteer just for a one-off project or on a more regular basis; it’s totally up to you.

Time commitment

Volunteers will have to commit on a project-basis. No minimum hours or days required

Application deadline
What measures have you put in place to ensure volunteers’ safety during COVID-19?
For the moment, our volunteer opportunities are online. If we will need in-person volunteering then we apply all the safety procedures during the event: social distancing , masks and hand sanitiser throughout the venue.

This organisation is one of our community partner organisations.

Like all volunteer recruiters we work with, they have signed up to our service standards, agreeing to abide by our policy on partnership working.

In addition, the team here at Students’ Union UCL Volunteering Service is here to support you throughout your volunteering journey – you can get in touch at any time with any questions, queries or problems you encounter.
