CARAS is a community outreach charity based in Tooting. We support people of refugee and asylum-seeking background who live in South-West London. CARAS offers a range of services to local beneficiaries, such as women and youth groups, advocacy advice and ESOL classes, along with individual visiting support.

CARAS is looking for volunteer ESOL Teaching Assistants to support our face-to-face adult ESOL classes in Tooting on Wednesday mornings.

Time commitment

* Beginner class: 10 to 11.30am
* Women’s Entry 1 class: 11.30am to 1pm (plus a 15-minute debrief)

You are welcome to apply to volunteer in one or both classes. Please note that ESOL classes do not run during school holidays and we follow Wandsworth Council term dates
