I Have A Voice
I have a voice brings professionals from the political sphere to the classroom to:equip young people with the tools and confidence to speak up on the issues that matter to them and their communities; and consider a range of rewarding careers in politics and policymaking.

Do you want to learn how to campaign and encourage others to take action in your community?

Do you want to gain employability skills whilst developing the skills and confidence to campaign on the issues that matter to you?

Do you want an opportunity to meet with local politicians?

This FREE programme will be delivered in-person over 4 weeks. You will:

  • articulate your views confidently on the issues that matter to you and your community.
  • identify opportunities to influence.
  • improve your critical thinking, and how to work with the press and digital media.
  • identify others who can help you take action.

By doing this you’ll gain experience and insight that will last you a lifetime and:

  • work in a team with like-minded people to develop an action plan to make a positive contribution to your community.
  • meet people who campaign for a living to hear about their career journeys and answer your career-based questions.

We anticipate minimal travel costs as the meetings will be in Lambeth, but travel costs will be reimbursed.

Time commitment

The sessions will take place from 6-8 pm every Wednesday from 6th to 27th July.
