Here at the Volunteering Service we’re keen to make volunteering open to everyone at UCL. We realise that postgrads don’t always find it easy to get involved - and so we’ve done out best to take away the barriers.

One-Off Volunteering - if you can’t make a regular commitment, but would still like to try out some volunteering, we have a full and varied one-off programme throughout the year (including the summer months). Have a browse of our our calendar of events.

Creating Connections - another activity we offer with the Public Engagement Unit is ‘Creating Connections’, a termly networking event for UCL staff and postgrads and the voluntary & community sector. It’s a friendly and relaxed way to see how your own interests and ideas might overlap with other people’s. Come along to the next event.

Volunteering Directory - we’ve got around 500 opportunities available in London with our partner organisations for UCL students; check out the roles on our directory and get the ball rolling with your volunteering straight away.

Research Postgrads - you can get Graduate School skills development points for your volunteering.

Find out what other postgrads have done - for example, there’s Dan Hadary, Liluo Yan and Ilaria Gimondi.
