St John’s Hospice provides free care for over 3000 people and their families every year living with a long term illness in London. We aim to meet the medical, physical, social and emotional needs of our patients across a range of services. It costs around £5million to run all these services each year.

We are seeking volunteers to work in one of our charity shops, with a passion to work hard and raise the funds needed to make a difference to the lives of our patients.

ACS is a non-profit organisation. Our organisation provides inclusive services to local adults, children and families living on low incomes, and support young people from disadvantaged backgrounds’ to achieve and develop new skills. We run services from Monday to Saturday every week. We are seeking volunteers to help, engage and support children with English, Maths and Science on Saturdays, as well as help adults and families in various activities. Museum Assistant Volunteer

The Museum Assistant role is fast-paced and varied, with the Museum Assistant being involved in various tasks throughout the day. The duties of Museum Assistant range from sales and cash handling, promoting Gift-aid donations, queue management, way-finding, and information assistance. We are looking for volunteers who would ideally like to donate one 4 hour every week, either as a 10:00-14:00 shift, or a 14:00-18:00 shift, for a minimum of 3 months. Ideally you will be able to start immediately, although this is not essential.

Our busy, successful shop on Camden Road sells entirely donated goods whose profits provide important income for Mind in Camden. It is not part of a national chain and all the income goes to Mind in Camden. We are looking for reliable volunteers to help run the shop.

Ideally, you would be available for one day per week between 10am and 6pm for a minimum of six months. However we welcome volunteers with as little as 3 hours to spare – what is really important is consistency and reliability!
