Our on-site volunteering community helps young people in need via phone, email and web chat. Young people contact our helpline every day so why not become helpline hero and make a difference to young people’s life; it will certainly change yours.

Become a Friend

Loneliness is a feeling many of us get, but for some it can dictate our lives. Social networks for people with a learning disability can be smaller than those without disabilities, which sometimes increases a feeling of isolation. Befriending can offer that additional person to someone’s life, to lift their spirits and help them live the life they want to lead.

CLIC Sargent volunteers are vital in the fight for young lives against cancer. They are a big part of the reason why we are able to do so much to support children and young people with cancer.

Our central Volunteering function supports staff to meaningfully work with volunteers and involve them in a fair and safe way. We are looking for a new office volunteer to join our small team once a week to take on an exciting project of their own.

Our team will make sure you’re fully trained in your tasks and have a proper induction to CLIC Sargent.

Shout Out Loud Young Producer

We are looking for enthusiastic, creative and energetic volunteers aged 16-21 to assist English Heritage in creating a ‘Youth Brand’ to use across the three year and work with the Project Manager to create a ‘big event’ at the end of the year.

You will have the chance to shape a national project, develop and share creative and digital skills, gain great experience to include in your CV and obtain Training and Volunteering Certificates to show to employers and education providers.

London Landmarks Half Marathon

London Landmarks Half Marathon is a 13 mile run taking place on Sunday 24th March.

Mencap have lots of runners raising money to support people with a learning disability.

As part of our cheer squad, you’ll give them that extra support to cross the finish line.

It’s an electric atmosphere where huge crowds gather to support thousands of people running through the streets of London.

Volunteers will receive a t-shirt and refreshments, and can claim travel expenses if needed.

Motor neurone disease (MND) is a progressive disease that attacks the motor neurones, or nerves, in the brain and spinal cord. This means messages gradually stop reaching muscles, which leads to weakness and wasting. We need a volunteer to support, provide a warm welcome and provide information to patients visiting the MND Clinic at Kings College Hospital.

Siblings Together charity
