Camp Counsellors play a pivotal and crucial role in supporting volunteers by offering one-to-one coaching sessions. You will use an empowering and participative approach to help take the Volunteer Team Leaders to the next level in their professional and personal development.

You need to have, or be working towards a qualification in mentoring or counselling and have experience in mentoring. You need to be available to provide at least 3 evening mentoring sessions between Mondays and Thursdays and give effective assistance to people in a short time period.

The AJR is a charity that supports Holocaust survivors and refugees.

We have more than 600 members who are over the age of 90 (and thousands creeping towards that age). They may have been very active in their younger days, but many find that old age and ill health means that they are less able to get out and often feel isolated and lonely.

Memory Loss Befriending Project

The Association of Jewish Refugees is looking for volunteer befrienders to visit elderly Holocaust survivors/refugees living with memory loss in order to stimulate and enhance their lives. Noah’s Ark provides regular Family Activities including Family Days, Parent Groups and Sibling Groups; designed to provide fun and free days out, allowing families the opportunity to meet others in similar situations and to take part in new activities in an accessible environment.
