Help Through Crisis Research Assistant

Community Links are recruiting a volunteer within the Help Through Crisis team to work on a research task developing and producing a directory of services for individuals and families in need in Newham. The role involves desk-based research and agency site visits where necessary and would suit a student of any discipline with excellent communication skills and attention to detail. Community Links offers a travel and lunch allowance and the volunteer will gain experience working on an innovative project for a well-established community charity.

We operate a busy advice service supporting over 9,000 people every year. As well as our ability to offer volunteers a reference from one of our solicitors, we have a travel and a lunch allowance and will provide interns with: training, development opportunities and experience of working in a friendly, legal environment. This opportunity is for current students and alumni, of any discipline, who would like to assist clients alongside pro bono lawyers from the City and to help clients complete application forms for welfare benefits.
