Africa Health Organisation (AHO) is an international health agency providing health and social care in Africa and the Diaspora such as the UK. Its main activities are disease prevention, treatment and medical research and development. Our mission is to lead strategic collaborative efforts among countries in Africa and partners to promote equity in health to combat disease, to improve the quality of life and lengthen the lives of the peoples in Africa.

AHO is looking for dedicated volunteers to recruit long-term support through distributing lottery leaflets, promoting the lottery and encouraging people to join the weekly lottery draw.

The volunteer role is flexible with time commitment agreed with the Manager. The opportunity will take place in Central London. To apply, please submit CV and covering letter to

For this role, we are looking for people with good organisational skills, excellent communication skills, and knowledge of London and enjoy meeting and interacting with people. You should have the ability to work independently.

You should be proud of working for Africa’s own international health agency and to raise funds that will be used to find solutions to Africa’s health problems.

Role Aim: 

You will represent AHO in London to recruit long-term support through lottery leaflet drop-off and promotion and encourage people to support the charity by joining our weekly lottery.


• To recruit long-term support for AHO through enrolment of our weekly health lottery;

• To promote and distribute health lottery leaflets at events and meetings;

• To promote health lottery through business to business marketing;

• To market, advertise and promote health lottery;

Skills needed: 

• Good organisational skills.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Knowledge of local area

• Enjoy meeting and interacting with people.
