About the organisation

Mary Ward Centre

Mary Ward Centre is the adult education centre with a difference. We provide a wide range of subjects for people at all levels and run courses during the day, evening or weekend to suit your timetable.

Interested in working with older people and confident in using a smart phone or iPad? We need you! We are looking for volunteers to help support our iPad and tablet classes that run in community venues in Camden. You will get chance to support our older learners and tutors, share your expertise and maybe learn a skill or two as well.

You don’t need to be a computer expert, just be familiar with using a smartphone / tablet, be friendly and patient and have a desire to help older people discover the amazing things technology can offer. You’ll meet some fun people and gain lots of experience in community adult education along the way.

Help out with one off iPad taster events or short 4 week courses. Classes run for 2 hours and travel to and from the centre will be reimbursed.

We look forward to hearing from you or just pop into the Mary Ward Centre to see us.
