Age UK Kensington & Chelsea

Age UK Kensington & Chelsea is a local charity working with and for older people. We aim to promote independence and well-being in later life, encouraging self-help and peer support.

We offer a wide range of services and activities, and provide

interesting opportunities for people of all ages to get involved as

volunteers.

Our services go from Information and Advice (benefit claim or housing) Befriending (one-to-one basis or in group including people who lives with dementia) Shopping (taking people to their weekly shopping) IT support, Small DIY tasks (changing lightbulbs or assembling a flat pack) Gardening, Chair based exercise (to keep the muscle fit) Walking Support (to help people to recover their confidence after suffering a fall)

Our Health and Wellbeing brings together community groups, local organisations, businesses and services from across the Kensington & Chelsea borough. It is one of the biggest events of its kind in the borough for people over 55s and attracts over 800 people. It is an amazing opportunity to engage with our community.
