Handel & Hendrix in London celebrate the life, music and times of two dynamic individuals.

Handel & Hendrix in London promotes the knowledge, awareness and enjoyment of Handel and Hendrix’s music to as wide a public audience as possible. We strive to inspire, educate and inform visitors through a series of concerts, talks and exhibitions about the two famous residents of neighbouring houses in Brook Street. We are looking for enthusiastic, pro-active and open-minded individuals to join our large and sociable volunteer team.

Role Aim: 

Volunteers play an invaluable and integral part in the everyday operations of our unique and beautiful historic houses, and make a valuable contribution to our work too. Handel & Hendrix in London provides a stimulating environment for volunteers to develop their knowledge, meet new people and acquire new skills.

Duties: 

Key volunteer responsibilities include room stewarding, covering the reception and box office and serving in the gift shop. Volunteers receive training across all of these areas.

Skills needed: 

A desire to learn, open-mindedness, fluency in English language, punctuality, good communication skills.

Training: 

We have an in-depth training programme which all volunteers complete once joining the team. This includes room steward training, EPOSNow shop till training and Spektrix box office training.

Location: 
Mayfair/Central London
Time commitment: 
1-5 hours per week
Opening times: 
We are open to the public Monday – Saturday from 11am – 6pm. Volunteers can choose to do an all day shift, a morning shift or an afternoon shift on the day of their choice which they can commit to each week.
