Peter Bedford is a housing association with charitable aims that creates positive change in people’s lives. As well as homes and support, we empower people to learn, access work and discover their creative talents. Based in Hackney and Islington, we work with people who have experienced homelessness, drug and alcohol dependency, people who have poor mental health, disabilities or complex needs. Our work enables people to move on and lead independent lives.

PBHA delivers an exciting and varied programme of adult learning and employability opportunities. As a charity, it is essential for us to accurately record client information and attendance data as well as continuously monitor and evaluate the impact of our work. We’re looking for a data entry volunteer to support us with the implementation of Substance Views, our new impact reporting system.

Ideally, you will be able to commit to volunteering for 3-4 hours a week between Monday and Friday for an initial period of 2 months. In return, we can offer you the opportunity to gain valuable experience and insight into monitoring, evaluation and impact reporting in the charity sector.

Duties: 

This role involves assisting with the implementation of Peter Bedford Housing Association’s new impact reporting system and data entry. Training will be provided.

Skills needed: 

• The ability to use IT competently and confidently

• A commitment to the role and PBHA’s mission and values

• Reliability in attendance and timekeeping

• The ability to work flexibly as part of a team

Training: 

A full induction and 1:1 training in the use of Substance Views will be provided.
