About the organisation

Age UK Westminster

Age UK Westminster exists to promote the well-being of older people in the City of Westminster and help make life a fulfilling and enjoyable experience within our local community. Age Concern Westminster exists to promote the well being of older people in the City of Westminster to help make later life a fulfilling and enjoyable experience.

Our Community Outreach Volunteers play a very important role in ensuring that local people are kept informed about our services:

• They help to signpost local people to us by distributing our leaflets and information to various local community organisations. This includes GP surgeries, libraries, day centres, churches and older people’s residential accommodation schemes across Westminster.

• They run regular information stalls located at various community organisations, aimed to inform local people about the free services and activities we offer to our target group and where to come for support, as well as to recruit more volunteers for our organisation.

• They also become the voice of Age UK Westminster, giving talks about our organisation and services to other organisations and businesses across Westminster
