Aston Mansfield

Aston-Mansfield has been working in the heart of east London for over 130 years. We provide a wide range of community development support and activities in the London Borough of Newham, directly delivering services to around 1000 people and 900 organisations each year.

Emphasising developmental learning and personal growth, our services bring together people from diverse backgrounds to tackle poverty and deprivation and to enrich people’s lives. We aim to improve people’s lives: working with children, young people and families, whilst also developing community groups and the voluntary sector.

Application deadline: 

We are looking for Self-Starter graduates with high level of research skills.

CIU staff will are looking for volunteers with skills in storytelling, updating existing pieces of work and scientific based research methods.

We’re looking for someone who will be able to work in a team and with other people. Experience working with Mailchimp is desirable.

Role Aim: 

The Community Involvement Unit (CIU) consists of a group of specialists whose aim is to:

GROW, DEVELOP, and SUSTAIN voluntary and community groups in the borough of Newham.

Research found will keep these groups INFORMED, SUPPORTED, and SUSTAINABLE to provide maximum impact within the communities they work with.
