About the organisation

Pratham UK

Established in 1995, Pratham is now one of the largest and most successful non-governmental education organisations in India.

Working in collaboration with governments, communities, parents, teachers and volunteers, we focus on innovative interventions to address gaps in the education system. The clarity of our mission - "every child in school and learning well" - drives our work through programmes focused on primary education, back to school initiatives and vocational training. Pratham UK is the fundraising and awareness building arm of the charity, which strives to engage the community and make people aware of the charity’s meaningful work.
