Centrepoint

Centrepoint is the UKs leading charity for homeless young people. We have accommodation services in London, Bradford, Manchester, and the North East and support more than 9,000 homeless 16-25 year olds each year. Centrepoint realises that it takes more than just a bed to put an end to homelessness – so we work with each of our young people to ensure that they have access to education and training opportunities, become physically and mentally healthy and gain the essential life skills needed to escape homelessness for good.

Centrepoint is the UK’s leading youth homeless charity. Working with the Strategy and Change Manager you will be helping to deliver projects that will improve the outcomes we deliver. This si a great opportunity for anyone who wishes to gain experience in project management!

Role Aim: 

The role will involve working across several of Centrepoint’s core functions, supporting them to successfully deliver new initiatives within their area of work.

Duties: 

• Owning Change Initiatives / tasks within change initiatives

• Forming and delivering project plans

• Undertaking stakeholder management to successfully undertake activities associated with the plan

• Managing delivery against plans

Skills needed: 

• Project management experience

• Confidence and experience of working with a range of stakeholders

• Strong communicator

• Able to work independently and as part of a team

• Knowledge and experience of Microsoft (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Outlook)

Training: 

Project Management coaching and mentoring.
